This is a magical tour that takes you into the forests & cornfields of the rural Mayan communities of Yucatan and the wonderful nature reserve of Punta Laguna.
You will meet real sustainable communities that have been living off the land for generations, growing their own food and using the natural resources of the jungle to build their homes.
The scenery is lush tropical forest, inhabited by the abundant wildlife of the region: monkeys, birds, reptiles, insects, felines and much more. The jungle is full of life: the sounds of nature our expert guide lead you into the heart of this vibrant ecosystem. We ride mountain bikes, hike jungle trails looking for wild monkeys, paddle canoes on a pristine lake, swim relax, connecting with the natural world and a people who live in harmony with it.
Expect to see some resident wildlife, discover the art of local honey extraction, sample delicious homemade delicacies, make tortillas & salsa and have a huge amount of fun at the same time.
