Hidden deep within the lush jungle, El Pit is a colossal sinkhole offering an extraordinary diving experience that blends natural beauty, mystery, and surreal underwater phenomena.


At sunrise, beams of bright turquoise light pierce through the cenote’s crystal-clear water, illuminating your descent. As you reach a depth of 30 meters (100 ft), you'll glide through a dramatic hydrogen sulfide cloud, unveiling a haunting scene: perfectly preserved trees jutting out from a mud-covered island in the heart of the abyss.


IMPORTANT TO KNOW : 

This tour requires a minimum of two participants. If the minimum isn't met, you can still join the tour by paying an additional $50. 


INCLUDED : 

  • Transportation included from the diving center to the cenotes and back to Tulum

  • Professional instructor

  • Entrance fees to the cenotes

  • Full equipment (mask, wetsuit. regulator, BCD, fins, tanks, weight)

  • Freshly made sandwiches, snacks, fruit and water.


EXCLUDED:

No pickup in hotels, there is no photography service provided by the instructor.


REQUIREMENTS :

It is mandatory to have at least the Open Water certification and less of one year since your last dive (you can contact us for more details)


CANCELLATION POLICY : 

Each tour should be booked by paying a deposit.

In case of cancellation more than 24 hrs before the pickup, we do not charge you any cost and will give you back your deposit.

In case of cancellation less than 24 hrs before the pick up or in case of no show we will charge you 100% of the total amount of your tour. Please understand that we have to pay all our providers and staff although you do not come.


PAYMENTS : 

Credit card payments have a fee up to 7% depending on Credit Cards. We recommend bringing cash. 

Our prices are in USD. Please be aware that we work with a monthly based exchange rate for Payments in Pesos or Euros.
